I just found this band today as they ‘friended’ me on MySpace. The UK ensamble, The Woven Project, formed in early 2009 and are currently recording.

On February 16, 2009 Local Natives will release Gorilla Manor, their debut album, on Frenchkiss Records. The album, which the band produced alongside Raymond Richards, is named after the Orange County house where all five members lived together.

These New Yorkers released a self-titled debut album in September 2009. The catchy single, “On a Whim,” has seen heavy exposure on the TV show Psych.

Here’s a lovely piano arrangement by Tori Amos. For those who love holiday music, Amos is back with her 11th studio album and first seasonal album, Midwinter Graces. The singer-songwriter revisits her former classical technique with this November 10, 2009 release through Universal Republic Records.

She will host a global broadcast on her Facebook page on December 11, 2009 at 3pm EST from Electric Lady Studios in New York. She will be performing songs from Midwinter Graces as well as other catalog hits.
