The Verve has a new album. Fourth is their first album since the wonderful Urban Hymns from 1997. You must remember “Bittersweet Symphony.” If not from knowing The Verve than you know it from the last scene in the movie Cruel Intentions. “Love Is Noise” is the second track and first single off the album that was released yesterday, August 26, 2008.

Way back in February I was enjoying a song and a fun music video by these guys entitled “Lucio Starts Fires.” Then I saw them live in Austin and they did not impress me. Not to mention the fact that they took FOREVER to set up their equipment and I was ready for something worth the wait. Needless to say, I put them on the back burner and now they are trying to lure me back with this one.
