I love Shara Worden. Trained classically, she became part of a band called My Brightest Diamond. Then she played The Queen in The Decemberists’ Hazards of Love. Now, she performs with acclaimed chamber orchestra Signal, on Penelope. Penelope is a song cycle by composer Sarah Kirkland Snider, with lyrics by playwright Ellen McLaughlin.
