Lane says of her writing experience, “My favorite thing to write about is the world through my eyes. Nobody views the world through the same lens that you do and therefore you will always have a unique story to tell. One that nobody else has ever heard before.”

“A Baby-Step of Faith” by Eron Falbo

Brazilian singer-songwriter and musician, Eron Falbo’s debut album, 73, was produced by revered producer Bob Johnston; best known for his seminal work with Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Johnny Cash and Simon and Garfunkel.

Falbo released the 60’s inspired single “Beat the Drums” through Universal Music Group and then moved to Pisces Records (a small imprint back in Brazil) to release 73. The album was recorded at Nashville’s Dark Horse Recordings in a two day span. The finessing of the mixes and final overdubs were completed at the infamous Konk Studios in London.

Falbo calls 73 his “snapshot of the collective creative sentiment of the 60’s that he feels culminated in 1973. It is above all a lyrical dose of Rock & Roll, themed around ethical self-improvement, submerged in the exploration of cosmic hidden truths and illustrated by a new voice with a charmingly idiosyncratic perspective.”

“Burn (Ellie Goulding cover)” by Aurah

Now based in California, Aurah is comprised of Switzerland’s gems, Marc Dold and Judith (Jude) Martin. Their dreamy signature sound is interwoven between ambient and modern electronica.

Their debut album, Kismet, hit the music scene when Marc and Jude were fresh out of the Berklee College of Music. It caught the attention of the entertainment industry and several tracks landed on hit TV shows like Sex and the City. That experience eventually opened the door for them to create additional tracks that were licensed to other shows, and films including Blood Diamond, Little Miss Sunshine and Blood & Chocolate.

Today, Jude is proud to present the band’s newest song, a dream cover version of Ellie Goulding’s Burn.

“Longing” by Goodman

NYC-based singer/multi-instrumentalist/songwriter, Michael Goodman (aka Goodman), recently released a digital full-length album, Isn’t It Sad. It is the follow-up to late 2012’s What We Want. The album was recorded at Mama Coco’s Funky Kitchen in Brooklyn.

The 12 tracks on this album are biting songs unafraid of their own emotional importance. If you’re immune to melody and a fan of lyrics about nights where the fun never stops, stay away from this album. If you hate having songs stuck in your head, stay away from this album. If you’re afraid of sincerely caring about an artist more than just his trend potential, good lord, stay away.

“Who We Are” by Sonali Argade

Singer-songwriter, Sonali Argade, recently released her new music video for “Who We Are,” the single off her new EP, Wake Up.

Argade’s writing style and musical tastes have evolved since her last release in 2012, titled Speechless. Some of her growth as an artist can be attributed to her attendance at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Plus, some has to do with experiencing the Big Apple.

Wake Up was released in February of this year. The album is an eclectic mix of folky pop-rock, reminiscent of both Mumford & Sons and Colbie Caillat.

Dedicated studies, including jazz guitar at the Players School of Music, Berklee College of Music’s Five Week Summer Performance Program for Voice, and her current studies at NYU have propelled Sonali’s knowledge and ambitions. In addition, she is armed with an arsenal of raw talent, technical know-how and resilient focus.
