Coffman’s friends Jack, Jackson, and Dietrich Potts (Father and sons) helped him shoot it. That’s Dietrich in the truck. They shot the video in Spring, Texas at John’s land — another one of Coffman’s friends. John has these great trucks from the 1950s and a barn that is hand built. According to Coffman, “It’s incredible out there.”

“Across The Sea” by The Golden Sounds

Formed in Nashville in 2004, The Golden Sounds is the creation of front-man Todd Evans. The band just released Waiting On The Birds and Todd released an illustrated short story book to accompany it. “I love print and I love sitting down and listening to a record all the way through instead of just buying a single. So releasing a short story with the album is my attempt to get people to slow down for a moment, sit and think, and enjoy…” ~ Todd Evans

The Golden Sounds’ current line-up is: Todd Evans (singer/various instrumentals), Adam Riggs (Keys), Andrew Collins (guitar, melodica), Chris Vicari (drums).

“Burn (Ellie Goulding cover)” by Aurah

Now based in California, Aurah is comprised of Switzerland’s gems, Marc Dold and Judith (Jude) Martin. Their dreamy signature sound is interwoven between ambient and modern electronica.

Their debut album, Kismet, hit the music scene when Marc and Jude were fresh out of the Berklee College of Music. It caught the attention of the entertainment industry and several tracks landed on hit TV shows like Sex and the City. That experience eventually opened the door for them to create additional tracks that were licensed to other shows, and films including Blood Diamond, Little Miss Sunshine and Blood & Chocolate.

Today, Jude is proud to present the band’s newest song, a dream cover version of Ellie Goulding’s Burn.

“Longing” by Goodman

NYC-based singer/multi-instrumentalist/songwriter, Michael Goodman (aka Goodman), recently released a digital full-length album, Isn’t It Sad. It is the follow-up to late 2012’s What We Want. The album was recorded at Mama Coco’s Funky Kitchen in Brooklyn.

The 12 tracks on this album are biting songs unafraid of their own emotional importance. If you’re immune to melody and a fan of lyrics about nights where the fun never stops, stay away from this album. If you hate having songs stuck in your head, stay away from this album. If you’re afraid of sincerely caring about an artist more than just his trend potential, good lord, stay away.

Have a listen the the album track “Longing” below.
