“I Don’t Dance” by City City

Electro/synth indie rockers, City City celebrate the release of their first official video “I Don’t Dance” off of their upcoming full length, self-titled album. The band previously released two EP’s, Lines and Adult People.

“I Don’t Dance” is a throwback to the movie culture generation of the 80’s and 90’s. City City was originally pioneered by Kyle Minichelli (guitar), Jeff Kirchner (guitar/synth/vocals) and Dan McCollister (lead vocals) in 2006. Later in 2011, they completed their line-up when they recruited Valerie Ngai (bass/synth) and Jarrett Portnoy (drums/vocals).

City City has toured throughout California, the midwest, and several other states, including Hawaii. You may visit the band’s website for a free download of “I Don’t Dance.”

“Still Dancing” by ASTRAEA

Rousing dance/pop artist, ASTRAEA, has a new single called “Still Dancing” available for download on iTunes. An accompanying VEVO video is available here. In addition, the “Still Dancing” Remix Package Set is available digitally only on iTunes.

This is ASTRAEA’s first new studio recording in over a year and to make the release even more spectacular, she debuted it on her birthday. The anticipated single arrived after months of diligence, determination and studio perfection. “Still Dancing” is a smooth mid-tempo dance groove about a girl waiting for a boy so they can dance the night away together, but when he’s a no show, she perseveres and dances alone until the sun comes up because nothing frees you more than dancing.

ASTRAEA has a knack for all things art & culture and uses not only her voice for artistic release but also bares a long list of creative outlets that constantly inspire her song writing and self-expression. Dancing, blogging, decorating, painting, traveling and her flair for fashion are only a few of the passions that frame her unique style.

ASTRAEA’s first EP, Dirty Blonde, from 2010 is also a worth-while listen.

Electro/pop vixen, Courtney Jenaé, is announcing the re-release of her catchy single, “Accelerate,” off of her current four-song EP, Uncovered, via the independent record label Wondr Music.

Several of her songs have been featured on current hit TV shows and she is in talks with many networks about featuring more of her songs. She’s also talking to some labels about writing for some of their very well-known artists.

Being a singer is in my blood”, says Jenaé. “… I didn’t choose singing, it chose me.

“Sweet Surprise (Live)” by Naia Kete

Pop/soul artist, Naia Kete, will join this year’s four day Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN. At this time, Kete will reveal her third EP in physical and digital release.

Originally from Northampton, MA, Kete currently lives in Los Angeles. The product of a musical family, she always loved using her voice to express herself from as early as age two. Musical instruments lined the walls growing up in the Kete home and eventually Kete taught herself to play the piano with her father’s influence and write songs on her mother’s classical guitar.

You may recognize Kete as a contestant on season two of NBC’s The Voice as a member of “Team Blake” and making it into the Top 24.
